So when we speak at different places and go anywhere in general, people always ask: What are the differences living in the Philippines (PI)? Let me tell you just a few things from fairly mixed credible sources.

Life Expectancy male/female - US: 77/82 PI: 65/72 Avg. Monthly Wage - US: $4,893 PI: $379 Avg. Annual Wage - US: $58,000 PI: $4,500 Avg. Home Size - US: 2,600 sq ft PI: 430 sq. ft. Avg. Elem. School Class Size - US: 21 PI: 41.5 (PI school can be 2 or 3 shifts of kids each day) % of Kids that will finish Elem. School - US: 99.9% PI: 67% % of kids underweight under age 5 - US: 1.3% PI: 20.2% % of Deaths between 15-60 male/female - US: 13%/8% PI: 27%/15% Average Commute to Work - US: 25 minutes PI: 45 minutes (Manila ranks in worst traffic in the world) Again, these are things pulled off the internet from differing sources. They may differ some, but I think they give a great comparison to those of us born and living in the U.S. I would challenge you to look up more facts on your own and pray for those people on the other side of the world. You can even come and visit sometime to see just how "blessed" you may be.
